Step 1: Choosing a Goal

The Out and About program will help you to select a goal related to increasing participation in the community. A goal can be something you want to do or achieve, or something you want to change. Your goal could involve learning something new, doing something you’ve never done before, meeting new people—or many other things.

Listed below are the Out and About goal categories to help you choose a goal to work on. This program can also help you find resources to address goals in each of these areas. Visit our resources page to find fact sheets, articles, and online training videos to help you achieve your goals.
